Job Description:

Litigation-focused firm is seeking a driven, aggressive, and experienced Associate Attorney with a strong background in personal injury and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be motivated to maximize results for clients and eager to increase their own compensation through collected attorney fees . Goal is for a successful associate to become a partner of the firm. Cases include personal injury, Title IX/civil rights, sexual abuse, denied homeowner claims, lemon law/warranty claims, and other civil litigation. We do not handle family law or criminal law matters. This is a fully remote position , though office accommodations can be arranged if preferred. We offer a flexible compensation structure that rewards initiative, skill, and results.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of personal injury and civil litigation matters from intake through resolution Conduct depositions, draft and argue motions, handle discovery, and prepare for trial Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel effectively and professionally Participate in strategy development and case valuation discussions Maintain organized, thorough, and timely case files and documentation

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and active South Carolina bar license in good standing Minimum 1 year of personal injury and/or civil litigation experience Strong litigation skills, including courtroom and deposition experience Ability to work independently in a remote environment Results-oriented with a competitive mindset and strong work ethic
