We encourage you toapply and bring your expertise if you’re a: Experienced litigationattorney: You’ll manage the entire legal process, frominvestigation and discovery though trial prep and court proceedingsrepresenting clients in depositions, site inspections, courthearings, trials, etc. and negotiating settlements as required.
Strategic partner : Researching all applicable laws and findings,you will develop appropriate legal strategies for all stages oflitigation and share them with claims representatives and insuredclients. People person : You’ll establish and maintain goodrelationships with claims representatives and insured clients, andoccasionally conduct training sessions for Legal, Claims or otherdepartments. Effective communicator : You’ll develop and renderclear, unambiguous legal opinions and strategies, and draft legaldocuments including pleadings and motions.
Collaborative mentor:
You’ll provide guidance and direction to junior attorneys,paralegals or law clerks, while also having opportunities tointeract and collaborate with Home Office Legal. QualificationsWhat you’ve got: Experience Membership in the TN Bar Appropriatespecial licenses to practice before boards or federal courtspreferred A minimum of five years of successful experienceconducting discovery, depositions, oral arguments, mediations,arbitrations, hearings and trials.
