$42K – $52.1K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Mid-level Windows Microsoft Office Analysis skills Bachelor’s degree Law office Paralegal Certificate Communication skills Full Job Description Position Summary The eDiscovery Specialist will perform a variety of duties related to the firm’s electronic discovery management and review protocols, with a focus on data processing, document management, end user technical support, and support to attorneys and paralegals throughout all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) process. Primary Responsibilities Respond to first level on-demand training and assistance requests for all firm eDiscovery applications. Provide project management for eDiscovery projects, including reviewing and loading of data and images to databases, and providing assistance and expertise to legal team in the generation of database queries, privilege logs, reports, and productions. Use a working knowledge of basic and advanced functions of the firm’s eDiscovery software tools to recommend appropriate software to accomplish eDiscovery objectives. Work both independently, and as part of a team, to ensure that eDiscovery jobs progress quickly, efficiently and with high quality. Track eDiscovery jobs from matter initiation through production. Effectively communicate job status and potential issues with Litigation Support Manager. Provide assistance with monthly invoice intake from eDiscovery vendors as needed. Provide back-up courtroom and trial support as needed. Other duties as needed. Skills and Qualifications A strong analytical and problem-solving orientation with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Intermediate or advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, Windows, and technology hardware. Strong written and oral communication skills. A demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, follow detailed instructions and meet established deadlines. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and assignments and shifting responsibilities and deadlines. Experience with trial presentation software (TrialDirector, Sanction, OnCue) is preferred. Some travel is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Five years of law firm experience and paralegal certification preferred. Two years of experience in a DISCO/Relativity/or other eDiscovery platform environment preferred.
