Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Practice Management, the Litigation Docketing Manager is responsible for supporting the Firm’s litigation practice by overseeing all aspects of its centralized docketing department. This role includes designing and implementing calendaring software, building and supervising a team of docket specialists, and ensuring accurate tracking of legal and filing deadlines across multiple jurisdictions. This role provides docketing coverage of all U.S. jurisdictions.

Position Responsibilities:

Serve as subject matter expert on docketing procedures and industry best practices Work with vendor and attorneys to successfully implement the Firm’s docketing software. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Firm’s docketing department. Supervise departmental personnel, providing expectations, coaching and evaluations Ensure accurate and timely entry of all docketing information into the Firm’s docketing system Perform legal docketing with Firm’s docketing software to generate calendars from court documents, correspondence, rules, and statutes. Assist in researching and addressing calendaring inquiries from multiple offices within the Firm. Prepare and issue calendar software reports. Oversee the investigation of docket issues. Manage quality control and review of docket data entry, respond to case teams to ensure accurate docket entries. Answer procedural questions related to date calculations and filing requirements. Monitor court rules and procedures for updates and changes. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Position Requirements and Desired Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 5+ years of related experience 1 – 5 years of experience in docketing management. Ideally, with exposure to litigation in a law firm environment. Proficient in Microsoft office Minimum of 2 years’ docketing experience with Milana (or similar docketing software) required Excellent oral and written communication skills Accuracy, attention to detail, and good organizational skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task Strong client service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment Bradley is an equal opportunity employer.
