Legal Firm Administrator 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars St. Louis, MO 63141 Adams & Marting Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of a legal firm in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in office management in a legal setting, along with a strong background in human resources, and legal administrative support. This role is crucial to maintaining the smooth functioning of the firm and supporting both legal and operational staff.

Job Description:

Oversee daily office operations and workflow to ensure a productive and organized environment Manage office supplies, equipment, facilities, and vendor relationships Serve as the point of contact for IT support and infrastructure needs Develop and maintain office procedures and policies Administer HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, performance tracking, and benefits administration Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies Support staff development and training coordination Serve as liaison between staff and management on HR matters Oversee operating account reconciliation in accordance with legal industry standards Assist with budget preparation and financial reporting Coordinate with accountants for audits and tax preparation Support attorneys with legal document preparation, filings, and calendaring as needed Assist in conflict checks and client onboarding procedures Coordinate with legal support staff to ensure case-related administrative needs are met

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in office management within a legal environment Solid knowledge of legal administrative procedures, HR practices, and basic accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal practice management software, and accounting tools Strong interpersonal and communication skills High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational ability Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, HR, or related field preferred but not required Familiarity with basic accounting and regulatory compliance Experience in payroll processing and benefits coordination Exposure to employment law practices in the legal industry Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
