Job Description
The Department of Medical Pharmacology and Physiology, University of Missouri invites applications for a Business Support Specialist II position. Performs a variety of independent, specialized business support duties for the assigned department or office. Executes, documents and reports on business and fiscal operations.
Job Duties:
Process payroll for exempt and nonexempt employees utilizing timekeeping system.
Monthly reconciliation for multiple accounts utilizing PeopleSoft and Excel, process travel vouchers, non-purchase order vouchers, correcting entries, credit card reconciliation, process core statements monthly, administratively supports the BETA program
As with all positions, involvement with other duties and responsibilities is expected.
Shift
Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm with ability to be flexible when needs arise)
Minimum Qualifications
An Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PeopleSoft and at least two years of financial experience.
