JOB SUMMARY
Handles all Claims under all lines of coverage. Responsible for overall administration of Risk programs including managing certificates of insurance. Support Security/Risk Director by monitoring and auditing all claims handling of third party administrators and carriers. Coordinate & Developing programs to ensure a safe working environment and OSHA compliance while maintaining paperwork flow, identifying and researching specific general liability claims to process appropriately. Complete analysis of risk control programs to minimize casino losses.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Administrate and advise the Director of Security/Safety, preferably pre-litigation, general liability, protection and indemnity, automobile physical damage and property loss claims. Conduct investigations of incidents involving legal liability, damage to company property, and employee injuries. Oversee the handling of Workers Compensation, General Liability, Patron, and Employees claims by working with third party administrators and carriers Coordinate Lawsuits and claim by working directly with Attorney and TPA’s under the direction of Director of Security/Safety. Oversee the scheduling of depositions Sets up and prepares statistical reports and c onducts the analysis of risk trends, problem areas and creation of programs to minimize losses. Produce relevant reports to team Process , Track and maintain timely claims information systems, including but not limited to coding for type of incident, location, department, paid-to-date, outstanding reserves and recoveries Coordinate and implement Safety and Loss prevention programs and facilitates necessary training programs including emergency preparedness and risk management orientation. Coordinate and maintain safety incentive program, inspections programs and other documentation as required. Maintain Certificates of Insurance Maintain Confidentiality of sensitive information and reports Monitor and review Security reports for completeness and ensure distribution is accurate an on time as defined by the regulations Coordinates necessary Federal and State programs including Blood Borne Pathogens, Hazard Communications, Lock-Out/Tag-Out Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies and acts as a role model, always presenting oneself as a credit to Caesars and encouraging others to do the same Assure exceptional Customer Service to all patrons and applicants by communicating in a pleasant friendly and professional manner at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
College degree or equivalent work experience. 2-4 years claim experience in general liability and/or Workers Compensation A minimum of two years of administrative, security, or insurance experience is required. Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business Must be 21 years of age Must pass background check and hair follicle drug test. Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must have excellent customer service/communication skills. Knowledgeable in data entry, read and interpret output from a computer. Insurance experience to include Worker’s Comp or General Liability. Ability to coordinate many tasks simultaneously.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Must be able to Communicate on a constant basis with team and general public Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality. Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more. Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time or entire shift. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues. Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required. Must have the dexterity to grip and work necessary items (chips, 10 key adding machine, money bags, computers, money, etc.).
