Job Skills / Requirements
Immediate Openings for Part-Time Security / Loss Prevention Flex Officers
:

• Identify and Apprehend Shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Cameras
• Attend gate and provide access control for customersing in and out of back lot of the facility
• Check accuracy of orders picked up as customers leave the facility
• Writing
• Interacting with local Law Enforcement as needed
• Provide Courtroom Testimony as required

Job Requirement:

• Must be able to obtain a Security License through City of Joplin
• Pre-Employment Criminal ground Check and Drug Screening
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Ability tomunicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
• Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
• Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
• Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
• Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
• Previous Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not a requirement
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
• High School diploma or equivalent (minimum)
