Major Duties
Conducts internal/external inquiries involving incidents of pilferage, fraud, waste, abuse, misconduct, accidents, and other issues as determined by the Regional Loss Prevention (LP) Manager. Monitors emerce/online transactions.
Conducts and/or supervises Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), environmental, and loss prevention (LP) inspections/surveys. Rmends and/or implements loss prevention (LP) program modifications and procedures to increase operational efficiencies and effectiveness. May be required to manage or assist in managing the Exchange information and personnel security program.
Conducts interviews, obtains written statements, and prepares relevant case reports/files. Coordinates with local police/courts on theft prosecutions. Liaisons withmand, law enforcement, legal, and Exchange management on loss prevention (LP) activities.
Provides training to associates including, but not limited to, new hires, profit protection, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), internal controls, etc.
Oversees equipment management including, but not limited to, closed circuit television (CCTV) systems, electronic article surveillance (EAS), safety products, fire suppression systems, vehicles, etc. May oversee contract guard services and coordinate coverage at distribution center locations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
