Paralegal/Legal Assistant The Hadley Law Firm 326 Courthouse Square, Bay Minette, AL 36507 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and managing case files. This position requires a strong understanding of various areas of law, including civil litigation and personal injury. Responsibilities Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings by organizing case files and evidence. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts. Proofread documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Manage project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met efficiently. Maintain communication with clients regarding case updates and documentation requirements. Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems for easy access to case materials. Collaborate with attorneys on various legal matters, including litigation processes. Skills Strong project management skills to oversee multiple cases simultaneously. Knowledge of civil litigation or personal injury is highly desirable. Proficient in legal drafting with a keen eye for detail in proofreading documents. Ability to conduct comprehensive legal research using various resources. Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to clients and team members. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
