Full Job Description Position Summary:

Watkins & Eager seeks an individual with paralegal experience for its commercial real estate group. This individual will work within our Real Estate practice group with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients. Our professionals handle legal issues related to all types of real estate, including office, retail, hospitality, restaurant, industrial, mixed-use and multi-family properties. As part of a dynamic team, this individual will work side-by-side with our real estate lawyers who represent large and small developers, investors, retailers, financial institutions, contractors, owners, landlords and tenants. Job Responsibilities:

Preparing, revising and/or filing various documents, certificates, statements, amendments and forms. Forming limited liability companies and other entities. Performing UCC and other searches. Preparing and tracking closing checklists and transaction documentation from letter of intent through completion of closing binders. Reviewing and summarizing title commitments and surveys. Assisting with preparation of title commitments, title invoices, and proforma policies. Obtaining deed and mortgage documentation. Assisting with preparation of closing statements. Reviewing due diligence materials. Obtaining documents from various governmental agencies. Monthly billing. Time entry. Calendaring, scheduling and coordinating meetings.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in paralegal studies preferred. 3+ years of commercial real estate work experience. Technologically savvy with high level of competency working with Microsoft Office. Must be highly dependable. Able to juggle multiple projects with a strong sense of timeliness. Possess an acute attention for detail and organization. Able to prioritize shifting priorities while meeting multiple deadlines. Commercial real estate experience either in a law firm setting or with a title company strongly preferred. Experience with Landtech or similar closing software desirable but not required.
