The successful candidate will assist attorneys through the performance of complex administrative duties requiring knowledge of legal terminology and the legal process.
Responsibilities:
Drafting correspondence; and typing and formatting legal documents; Opening, organizing, managing and closing files; Assist attorneys with research and preparation for trials and hearings; Highly proficient in scheduling meetings and managing calendars; and making and/or changing travel arrangements; Effectively communicate with witnesses, clients, colleagues and partners; Perform general administrative tasks.
Requirements:
Minimum of four years experience in a litigation support role in the practice areas of Business & Commercial Litigation, Real Estate, General Litigation, and Foreclosure is strongly preferred; Excellent organizational and time-management skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management software; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
