Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to attorneys by managing case files, drafting legal documents, and assisting with trial preparation. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with a thorough understanding of legal procedures and documentation. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case management and organization of files Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions Prepare and file court documents in compliance with deadlines Conduct discovery, including document review and summarization Maintain communication with clients regarding case updates and information Assist in trial preparation, including the organization of exhibits and evidence Perform legal research as required to support case strategies Ensure all case-related documentation is accurate and maintained in an organized manner Manage calendars and schedule appointments, including court dates and meetings Provide litigation support to attorneys as needed during trial and pre-trial phases. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a legal setting Proven experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, specifically in litigation Strong skills in document drafting and legal writing Familiarity with court filing procedures and discovery processes Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Effective time management skills to meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
