We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant/Litigation Paralegal to support my clients legal team in handling a variety of cases, with a focus on litigation and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in legal terminology and possess strong organizational skills to ensure that all documentation is accurate and timely. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case preparation, research, and documentation for litigation and trials.
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
Manage case files and maintain organized records of legal documents and correspondence.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
Schedule appointments, court dates, and depositions while managing attorney calendars.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for use in cases.
Prepare trial exhibits and assist with trial preparation tasks as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a legal support role.
Previous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Legal Secretary, preferably in litigation.
Familiarity with medical malpractice, commercial litigation, defense, products liability, personal injury, and appellate law.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in legal research, document management, and case management software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
