We are seeking a Bilingual Immigration Paralegal to become a part of our team!
Responsibilities:
Conduct research to support legal proceedingsAssist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documentsRecord and store client informationPreparing applications for permanent residency and secondary benefits for foreign nationals.
Processing and filing nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions.
Organizing petition packets for review and filing.
Gathering application and petition information from external parties.
Experience with cases such as: Consular Process, Asylum, Permanent Residency,
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an immigration paralegal2 years of law-related work experience under the supervision of a licensed attorneyMust be able to work independentlyExperience on asylum cases, Consular Process cases, Court proceedings, employment-based cases.
Take payments, answer phones when needed,Extensive knowledge of visa, permanent residency, and secondary benefit applications.
Experience in preparing petition packages for review and filling.
Ability to manage immigration inquiries, gather required information, and keep clients informed of progress.
