Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mass Tort/Litigation Legal Assistant at Fenstersheib Law Group, P.A. located in Hallandale Beach, FL. The Mass Tort Legal Assistant will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, managing case files, and scheduling appointments. The Legal Assistant will also be responsible for assisting attorneys with legal research and document preparation.
Responsibilities:
Case Management:
Assist the Case Manager in the organization and management of mass tort cases, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and updated.
Client Communication:
Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing updates on case status and answering inquiries.
Legal Research:
Conduct legal research as needed, staying informed about relevant laws and regulations related to mass tort cases.
Documentation:
Request medical records and follow-up as needed
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with senior case manager, attorneys and legal staff to ensure seamless coordination and support for mass tort litigation.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with legal research and document preparation1-3 years of experience in a secretarial position is a plusKnowledge of medical terminology is a plusAderant Total Office experience is a plusA degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is a plus Help for Employer Information.
