The Opportunity New York, NY | Hybrid Our client is a top-200 U.S. law firm with 20-plus offices nationwide and a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture. To meet growing demand in its Private Wealth group, the firm is hiring a Trusts & Estates Attorney with 5+ years’ experience handling complex estate planning, asset-protection strategies, and estate/trust administration for affluent individuals and closely held businesses.

What You’ll Do Design and implement advanced estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax plans. Counsel clients on wealth-transfer vehicles, charitable giving, and asset-protection structures. Oversee probate and trust administration, including fiduciary accountings and tax filings. Coordinate with in-house corporate, real-estate, and tax colleagues on multi-disciplinary transactions. Cultivate client relationships and contribute to practice-group business-development initiatives. Credentials 5+ years of trusts & estates experience (business-owner planning a plus). LL.M. in Taxation or CPA required. Active New York Bar in good standing. Exceptional drafting, research, and client-facing communication skills.
