Litigation Paralegal-Ft. Lauderdale(FL) 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Fort Lauderdale, FL LHH is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with insurance defense and commercial litigation experience in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized multi-tasker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a high volume desk in a relaxed atmosphere. If you are a skilled and efficient insurance defense/medical malpractice paralegal who exhibits high attention to detail and who remains calm under pressure, this is the role for you!
Job Duties:
Drafting, formatting, and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, etc. maintaining department records, both physically and electronically Calendaring, coordinating court dates and appearances scheduling meetings with witnesses and other involved parties legal research and other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
4+ years of insurance defense or commercial litigation experience Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset
