We are currently seeking an experienced LitigationParalegal with a focus on personal injury to join our dynamic legalteam. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play akey role in our litigation process, providing essential support toour attorneys and ensuring the smooth running of our legaloperations. This position requires a minimum of 5 years ofexperience as a plaintiff personal injury Paralegal experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Paralegal, your responsibilitieswill include but not be limited to: 1. Assisting attorneys in trialpreparation, including organizing exhibits, drafting legaldocuments, and coordinating witness preparation. 2. Managing casefiles and maintaining case management software, ensuring allrelevant information is up-to-date and accessible. 3. Coordinatingscheduling and calendaring for attorneys, including depositions,court dates, and client meetings. 4. Conducting legal research andgathering relevant information to support case development. 5.Handling e-filing protocols and docketing 6. Answering incomingcalls, providing excellent customer service, and liaising withclients, court personnel, and other legal professionals. 7.Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should possessthe following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experienceas a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury. 2.Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with legalcase management software. 3. Knowledge of e-filing protocols andexperience using the WebTMS trademark docketing system. 4.Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to managemultiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. 5. Excellent customerservice skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor. 6.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stressenvironment. 7. Strong written and verbal communication skills,with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents. 8. Adegree, diploma, or certification in paralegal studies is a plus,but not required.
