We pride ourselves on a client-first approach and efficient case management backed by a collaborative, skilled legal team. Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced bilingual (English/Spanish) paralegal with a strong background in family-based immigration law to join us as an independent contractor basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Handle preparation and filing of family-based immigration forms including but not limited to:
I-130, I-485, I-601A, I-131, N-400, I-90, I-765
(EAD), and Asylum packages
- Review supporting documents and coordinate follow-up with clients as needed
- Track deadlines and ensure accurate submission of forms and documentation
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal assistants on strategy and case status updates
- Maintain case notes and ensure data integrity in firm’s case management system
Qualifications
Bilingual Required:
English and Spanish
- Minimum 3 years of family-based immigration experience
- Knowledge of USCIS processes and common RFEs
- Familiarity with immigration form software (e.g., Docketwise, Mycase, or similar)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and capable of working independently Contract Details
Type of Contract:
Independent Contractor (1099)
Duration:
Approximately 3-5 months, with potential to extend
Working Hours:
Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00PM
