About the
Role:
We are partnered with a Legal Firm who is seeking an experienced and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can support attorneys in all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial preparation to post-trial tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong understanding of legal processes, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including drafting legal documents, motions, and pleadings.
Manage case files and maintain case documentation.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for use in litigation matters.
Draft and prepare discovery requests, responses, and deposition summaries.
Coordinate the filing of legal documents with courts and other entities.
Schedule hearings, depositions, and meetings for attorneys and clients.
Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts as needed.
Provide general administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in civil or commercial law.
Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of Florida court rules and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
At least 5 + years your last job or two.
Preferred Qualifications:
Paralegal certification (e.g., NALA, NFPA) is a plus.
Experience with e-filing systems and case management tools is a plus.
