Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our clients dynamic team in Downtown Fort Lauderdale . This individual will play a vital role in supporting our Real Estate Practice Group by managing transaction details, coordinating with attorneys and clients, and ensuring all documentation and processes are completed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate experience , with a working knowledge of lease negotiations, financing, lending requirements, and title documentation. This role also requires the ability to track and record billable time .

Key Responsibilities:

Track and enter all billable and non-billable time using 3E. Proofread legal documents and correspondence for accuracy and clarity. Prepare and revise contracts, lease agreements, purchase agreements, and other transactional documents. Facilitate communication between attorneys, clients, title companies, and vendors. Order and review title reports, lien letters, and surveys; identify and help resolve title issues prior to closing. Coordinate and attend closings alongside attorneys when necessary. Monitor financial transactions and key deadlines related to closings and due diligence. Prepare signature pages and manage document revisions throughout the transaction lifecycle. Form legal entities and prepare/submit amendments to organizational documents. Maintain and update closing checklists and manage documentation for escrow and in-person closings. Create closing statements in Excel or using e-closing platforms. Draft and review title synopses, title objection letters, and responses. Conduct UCC and public records research and filings. Prepare post-closing binders and organize documentation in filesite for easy reference. Record documents electronically with county and state offices. Prepare resolutions, written consents, and review organizational charts and documents. Stay current with regulations and requirements related to FinCEN, KYC, and 1031 Exchanges . Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience required. Strong understanding of lease negotiations, lending documents, and real estate financing. Proficiency in the following systems is required: ATIDS, Doubletime, AgentNet, TitleWave Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Adobe PDF Pro Experience with Propel and AltaStar is a plus. Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
