This person will often be the first point of contact with potential new clients; therefore, a friendly and professional phone demeanor is important. Prior experience working in an office (legal or otherwise) is preferred but not required. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, computer skills, and excellent phone etiquette. Experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and PDFs is required. Experience with CRM systems and soft phones is preferred but not required. Our office is a small and supportive office setting so you must be a team player. JOB DUTIES
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Accurately and confidently provide information about our firm and our services to clients and potential clients.
  • Schedule appointments and manage attorney calendar.
  • Maintain a compassionate, positive, and professional tone with all callers and coworkers.
  • Work collaboratively to improve processes related to client communication and new client acquisition.

You will also assist with medical records and bill collection.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
  • A positive and professional phone manner.
  • Active and compassionate listener.
  • At least one year of experience working as a receptionist or in an office or customer service setting.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite; and CRM experience preferred.
  • An excellent work ethic with an eagerness to grow and improve.
  • Experience in bankruptcy or debt law is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Bilingual.
