Port Charlotte, FL 33954 Well-established, fast-paced local law firm seeks immediate full-time paralegal/receptionist with at least 3 years’ real estate closing experience; familiarity with condominium and association law helpful. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. A strong working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and Word is essential. Summary As a Real Estate Closer/Legal Assistant, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our law office, reporting directly to the lead attorney. Your core responsibilities will include document review, and case management, ensuring all transactions are compliant and efficient. With your premium skills in the closing of real estate transactions, you will assist clients through complex real estate processes. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and closing software will be essential as you manage front desk duties and support our legal team in delivering exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities Prepare documents for closings to support real estate transactions. Manage closing files and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Assist in drafting and proofreading closing and legal documents, including contracts and loan documents. Provide administrative support, including data entry and filing, while maintaining effective communication with clients and team members. Utilize Microsoft Office and legal/closing software to enhance office efficiency and organization.
