Hybrid Work Schedule:

This position follows a hybrid schedule, combining in-office collaboration with remote work. If you’re energized by face-to-face teamwork, client interactions, and a balanced routine, we would love to hear from you! Compensation- Compensation will be determined based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Ensure seamless legal processes from start to finish. Assist in drafting legal documents for estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Conduct research and analysis on estate planning laws and regulations to ensure accuracy and adherence to legal standards. Maintain and organize client files meticulously, ensuring all essential documents are accurately filed and easily accessible. Manage client files and maintain accurate case documentation in the firm’s case management system. Work closely with associated team members & attorneys to review and finalize estate planning documents, making any required revisions to ensure legal compliance. Attend client signings in the capacity of notary public and witness, depending on needs. Serve as a notary or witness for client signings, ensuring proper execution, scanning, and assembly of the Estate Planning Portfolio.

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience as an Estate Planning Paralegal or Legal Assistant. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of legal protocols and paperwork related to estate planning. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, team members, and clients. Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are vital qualities required for this opportunity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document preparation software. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Experience with legal case management software (Clio, WealthCounsel, LawMatics, or similar) is a plus. Professional demeanor and client-service mindset.
