IMMIGRATION PARALEGAL

RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing and filing applications with USCIS, including but not limited to family-based petitions, adjustment of status, provisional waivers, naturalization, and U-Visas. Preparing and filing applications with the Immigration Court, with high emphasis on asylum and cancellation of removal applications. Drafting motions for filing with the Immigration Court, such as Motions to Change Venue, Motions to Consolidate, Motions to Substitute Counsel, etc. Communicating with clients to gather evidence and information in support of their case Drafting affidavits with clients in support of their case Electronically file applications and requests with different immigration agencies, including but not limited to: FOIA requests with USCIS, and electronic filing of applications and motions with the Immigration Court Organizing and managing case deadlines Enter information, documents, and notes into case management software
REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual (Spanish and English)
Minimum Education:
College Education or equivalent Immigration Paralegal experience (At least 1 year of experience)
