Legal Assistant – Family Law Florida Women’s Law Group 8771 Perimeter Park Court, Jacksonville, FL 32216 Our busy legal firm is looking for an efficient, organized legal assistant to help our attorneys and paralegals assist clients and ensure we’re operating efficiently. You’ll assist with the preparation of legal documents, and handle all office correspondence including answering phone calls and emails, arranging meetings and travel, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines. If you have experience in a law firm environment, work well under pressure, and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in the legal industry, we want to connect with you. 1-2 years of experience in legal services (required) 1-2 years of family law experience (preferred) Experience using Florida e-filing portal and county clerk dockets (preferred) Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe products (required) Must be able to type at least 50 WPM Organizational, time management and communication skills are required
Salary Range:
$45,000-50,000/year Benefit Package In addition to salary and incentive options by role, all full time employees are eligible for the benefits below. More details provided upon offer. Heath, dental, vision and disability insurance. The firm pays 100% of employee premium for disability insurance and base health insurance option. Employee may elect to pay for alternative health plan, dental or vision insurance, or to add dependents to the same. Disability insurance covers maternity leave at 60% of annual salary. Paid time off begins accruing your first day of employment for a maximum of 10-days per year. Accrual rate increases with seniority at specified thresholds. Employees also receive one floating holiday per year and time of for most major holidays. After one year of employment, employees are eligible to participate in the firm’s 401(k) plan, with a 3% employer contribution Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits are provided through in-house training, as well as via post-attendance reimbursement. For attorneys, malpractice insurance is paid directly by the firm, and annual bar dues are reimbursed after the probationary period.
