Responsibilities include:
Analyze, maintain and produce legal and other documents. Draft form pleadings and releases. Assist with propounding and answering writing discovery. Prepare subpoenas and deposition notices. Request records, assist with responding to discovery, and prepare Freedom of Information Act requests and authorizations for the release of medical, employment and other records. Perform social media research. Prepare deposition summaries and chronologies. Check dockets and file pleadings (including e-filing in state and federal district and appellate courts). Use Westlaw and other legal research and analytical tools. Prepare trial exhibits, trial notebooks and bench books and demonstrative exhibits. Communicate with clients, court personnel, experts, attorneys and others by telephone, in person and in writing, obtaining and giving information as directed.
