Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant (Insurance Defense) Temp Experts Jacksonville, FL 32207 Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant Direct Hire Jacksonville, FL TempExperts is partnered with an established Law Firm in Jacksonville, Florida seeking an experienced well-versed Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant with experience in Insurance Defense . This is a direct hire opportunity.
Applicant must be able to:
Manage case from litigation intake through settlement or verdict. Prepare correspondence and legal documents including summonses, pleadings, notices, motions, and subpoenas under attorney supervision. Prepare and respond to pleadings such as complaint, discovery request, and motions. Prepare discovery request such as Interrogatories, Request for Admissions and Request for Production under attorney supervision.
Assist with trial preparation:
manage trial exhibits, prepare trial notebooks, maintain expert binders, perform jury research, and communicate with experts and fact witnesses. Conduct Legal Research. Maintain and monitor the legal compliance of case matters such as depositions, mediation, hearing, and trial deadlines by maintaining the accuracy of the attorney’s calendar. Serve as liaison between clients, opposing counsel, retained experts, vendors and witnesses. Familiarity with billing is a plus. Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 1-3+ years of litigation experience required. Insurance Defense experience preferred. Comfort and efficiency with supporting multiple attorneys required. TempExperts is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
