Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys in various legal matters. Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, contracts, and pleadings
- Review and analyze documents for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain document management systems and ensure proper organization of files
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Prepare materials for trial, including exhibits and witness lists
- Assist in drafting correspondence and preparing reports
- Proofread legal documents for errors or inconsistencies
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or similar role
- Proficient in legal research methods and databases
- Strong knowledge of document management systems and legal administrative procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in proofreading and editing legal documents
- Familiarity with interviewing techniques for gathering information
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Background in probate and family law a plus.
