The Position We are seeking a detailed-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to add to our growing Community Associations team. Requirements:

Essential responsibilities of the position will include: Communicate with attorneys, clients, vendors, and courts regarding assigned cases or projects Schedule and prepare legal documents for meetings, hearings, mediations and lien foreclosures, etc. Prepare and file legal documents via the e-Portal system in accordance with judicial procedures File legal documents via simplifile. Maintain and update various online websites in accordance with notification requirements Accurate and timely input of attorney time into the Firm’s time and billing system Other administrative duties as assigned Ideal candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications: Experience preparing legal documents to include complaints, affidavits, motions, and pleadings Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent oral and written communication skills Enjoy working in a detailed oriented, collaborative environment Advanced technical skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Commitment to providing consistent high-quality work product Superior organizational skills Familiarity with governmental e-filings and document management systems Experienced in document/case management programs, and time/billing software Willingness to work occasional overtime
