Legal Administrative Assistant LHH Recruitment Solutions – 3.7 Tampa, FL Job Details Full-time $60,000 – $70,000 a year 2 days ago Qualifications Mid-level Microsoft Office 3 years Litigation Client services Law office General & commercial litigation Communication skills Editing Full Job Description LHH is seeking a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) with at least three (3) years of experience in a law firm environment with Commercial Litigation. The LAA will be responsible for a variety of legal administrative tasks and offer thorough and effective administrative and secretarial duties. Please not, this position is not intended for paralegals. Candidates should be skilled in handing administrative duties related to commercial and business litigation cases. They will make sure there is seamless communication within the team. The LAA is essential in supporting trial preparation, managing legal documents, e-filings, scheduling and maintaining workflow for the litigation team. After a successful onboarding period, this role becomes hybrid.

Responsibilities:

Preparing, proofreading, and editing legal documents and correspondence for accuracy, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, format, and content Calendar management, including scheduling court appearances, depositions, meetings, and hearings E-filing documents with Federal and Florida State Courts Assisting attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing client materials and work product within our document management system Review and edit pre-bills, ensure they are ready for attorneys’ review and approval Submission of new business intake and conflicts checks and opening/closing of client matters Answering telephone calls and routine questions from clients and team members, and/or routing calls to appropriate staff Performing administrative duties such as client file management, general correspondence, expense reports, CLE tracking, check requests, and other administrative tasks

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in a law environment or law firm Experience with trial preparation and litigation in State and Federal courts is required Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn other programs Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Client service-oriented with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members

Pay Details:
