Legal Assistant The Elizarraras Law Firm, P.A. Ruskin, FL 33570 Job Summary We are seeking a bilinguial, Spanish-speaking, detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to join our dynamic law office. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various legal matters, including workers’ compenation law nd personal injury law. This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Duties Assist attorneys with legal research and case preparation for workers’ compensation law and personal injury cases. Draft legal documents, to incude pleadings and correspondence. Manage legal case files and maintain organized records for easy access. Perform data entry tasks accurately to ensure all client information is up-to-date. Coordinate communication between clients and attorneys, ensuring timely responses to inquiries. Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings as needed. Conduct follow-ups on pending cases and assist in trial preparation. Ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations relevant to the practice areas. Requirements Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred but not required; familiarity with personal injury law or workers’ compensation law is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation. Experience with legal case management software is advantageous. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of workers’ compensation law or personal injury law is beneficial but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
