Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files, drafting pleadings, and preparing discovery documents. Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management systems, ensuring all deadlines are met. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel regarding case updates and scheduling. File documents with courts and maintain compliance with all local and federal regulations. Prepare and organize trial exhibits and materials. Assist in gathering, reviewing, and summarizing evidence and documents. Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation assistant or in a similar legal role. Familiarity with legal terminology and litigation processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.
