EXPERIENCED

Paralegal needed for prominent boutique insurance recovery law firm specializing in complex insurance litigation, primarily representing policy holders against their insurance carriers. Applicant must be fully computer literate and more than proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), with good organizational skills, attention to detail and an ability to multi-task. Significant experience with Excel including the use of formulas is desired. Applicant with experience in complex commercial litigation is a plus. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• perform legal and factual research
• organize and analyze large volumes of information and assimilate summaries via excel documents
• draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, responses, notices and legal memoranda
• prepare correspondence
• check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy
• build and maintain databases and files
• organize and track case files and deadlines
• coordinate law office activities such as service of process
• help with trial preparation including witness lists, exhibits and trial binders Salary based on experience.
