Downtown Tampa Our law firm represents clients charged with or accused of criminal offenses in both State and Federal court. As this is a high volume law firm, dealing with complex and serious criminal matters; the applicant must be knowledgeable, able to multi task, personable, outgoing, punctual, hard working, diligent, detail focused and possess excellent communication, research and writing skills. Prior law firm experience is preferred.

Job Description:

Preparing court documents, subpoenas, motions, evidence, trial exhibits, and court pleadings

• Scheduling Hearings
• Assisting in Court during trials and motion hearings
• Operating the telephone to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments.
• Scheduling appointments and setting court dates for the attorneys
• Greeting persons coming to our firm, conducting general intakes of clients to determine nature and purpose of visit
• Providing information about the law firm to prospective clients, general marketing, updating social media and internet websites
• Collecting legal fees, preparing mail, messages, or courier deliveries
• Tending to the general needs of our attorneys and clients.
