Full Job Description Transactional Legal Assistant Office Locations:
Tampa We are seeking a dynamic, attention to detail professional Legal Assistant to join our Tampa office. The ideal candidate will have experience in transactional law to join our Franchise and Corporate team. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative, a desire to forge powerful relationships, hone their skills and deliver excellent work to advance their career at Quarles. This position will be 100% on-site in our Tampa office for the first 90-days of employment. Following this time, the position allows for a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the team in connection with all aspects of franchise agreements and disclosure documents, as well as other contracts, amendments, letters of intent, term sheets and correspondence. Experience with various real estate, commercial financing, and business law documents and processes. Working with the intake/conflicts team on opening new matters. Providing support for firm administrative functions, all under short deadlines. File maintenance, transcription, and entering time charges into the billing system as required. Updating and monitoring of attorney emails and calendar, scheduling meetings and conferences, interacting with clients, and responding to client requests and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years transactional law experience, including real estate, commercial financing, business law, and franchise experience a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, a self-starter, ability to work independently, strong communication skills, analytical, organizational, strong project management, interpersonal skills, and superb client service skills a must. Exceptional technical skills required, including knowledge of using styles in MS Word, Outlook, Forte numbering, tables of content and electronic file management a plus.
