Litigation Paralegal – Join Our Dynamic Legal Team! Full-time/In-office, Sarasota, FL Well-established Sarasota law firm with a focus on condominium, planned development and land use law is seeking a skilled litigation paralegal to join our team of dedicated attorneys and legal professionals. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy working on complex cases, we want to meet you!
Responsibilities:
Draft and file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery documentsManage case files, calendars and deadlines for litigation attorney and othersConduct legal research (Florida Statutes, LexisNexis, etc.) and summarize findingsAssist with court preparation including exhibits, witness lists, and court logisticsCommunicate with clients, property managers, experts, and court personnel
Qualifications:
Three years of litigation in a law firm setting preferred, but not requiredProficiency with legal software such as Clio, LexisNexis, JACS, PACER, etc.
Exceptional organizational, time management, and writing skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with discretionParalegal certification preferred but not required.
