Full Job Description Salary:

$85,000•$95,000 per year

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Hybrid Option:

Potential for one remote workday per week after 90 days of employment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Collection/Foreclosure Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in processing substantive legal work related to association lien and foreclosure actions. This role requires a thorough understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Florida Condominium Act, and related state laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Support attorneys by preparing legal documents including Demand Letters, Notices of Intent to Foreclose, Liens, Complaint Packages, Foreclosure Motions, and Settlement Stipulations. Manage communication with delinquent property owners through phone, email, and written correspondence. Process payments, prepare balance due letters, payoff letters, and estoppel documents. Generate Motion for Summary Judgment documents, including affidavits of indebtedness, costs, and attorney fees. Draft Notices of Hearing, Final Judgments, and Notices of Sale. Prepare hearing folders for attorney use and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate. Instruct and coordinate with team assistants on various administrative tasks. Maintain a high level of professionalism in client interactions and document preparation.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external clients. Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining consistent attendance.

Education and Experience:
