The Position Wilson Elser is currently seeking a Paralegal to join a national team supporting a broad litigation portfolio. This role will assist with investigations, collections, and the organization, and maintenance of discovery databases. Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of attorneys, performs a range of investigation and collections related duties necessary to respond to litigation discovery requestsObtains and manages client documents, including electronic data, and identifies potentially relevant materials for each caseAssists with coordinating efforts between client personnel, attorneys, and outside vendorsCollaborates and communicates effectively with stakeholders both within and outside the FirmMaintains and organizes evidentiary data and case-related information in accordance with best records management practices across a wide array of case files and documentation, including assisting with the coordination, and management of document productions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s DegreeBachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a Paralegal Certificate is a plusMinimum 1-2+ years litigation paralegal experienceStrong analytical and communication skills, both oral and writtenExperience with collaboration and work management software is a plusMust demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive informationExperience with Electronically Stored Information and document management systems, including computer-assisted review technologies, is a plus
