Job Description
Legal Assistant The Law Office of Ray Garcia, P.A. Miami, FL 33185 Legal assistant will assist Litigation Attorney and staff with administrative and clerical issues such as: Prepare retainer letters and other correspondence Perform conflicts checks Set hearings and depositions and manage calendar Assist in preparing and file pleadings and motions Communicate with clients and keep the apprised of the status of their case Exhibit knowledge of state and federal court systems including rules, procedures, deadlines, and e-filings Assist in preparing wills and other trust documents
Legal Experience Required:
Minimum of 1-year experience with litigation firm. Experience with Microsoft Word Associates Degree or Legal Certificate and experience with MyCase a plus!
