We’re also committed to developing talent and have trained many of Florida’s top-tier paralegals and attorneys. About the Role We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our North Miami Beach team. This role involves supporting personal injury cases from intake through trial, communicating with clients, and managing legal documents and deadlines. You’ll be part of a supportive team with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence Schedule and coordinate hearings, depositions, and client meetings Maintain case calendars and ensure deadlines are met Organize case files and assist with trial preparation Request and follow up on medical records and billing Communicate with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and court staff
Requirements:
Willingness to learn and grow professionally Prior experience in personal injury law preferred Bilingual in Spanish or Creole is a strong plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with cloud-based software and legal tech platforms Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with Florida CourtMap and E-Portal is helpful Social media literacy and internet research skills are a bonus
