Experienced Legal Assistant – Family Law Litigation Are you a highly motivated Legal Assistant with a passion for family law and a strong litigation background? A respected law firm in Coral Gables, Florida, seeks a dedicated professional for our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, organized individual to play a crucial role in our busy family law litigation practice. You’ll work closely with attorneys, providing essential support to navigate complex, often sensitive legal matters for our clients.
What You’ll Bring Experience:
Minimum three (3) years as a Legal Assistant, specifically in family law litigation. Familiarity with court procedures and fast-paced litigation environments is a must.
Case Management Expertise:
Skilled in assisting attorneys through all litigation phases, from intake to trial prep. This includes drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents, ensuring strict compliance with rules/deadlines.
Organizational Prowess:
Superior organizational skills are key to efficiently managing client files, calendars, and critical deadlines.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication, allowing professional, empathetic interaction with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team.
Tech Proficiency:
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with Centerbase or other relevant legal practice management software and e-filing systems is highly preferred.
Detail-Oriented:
Meticulous eye for detail ensures accuracy in all documents and processes.
Problem-Solving:
