We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Legal Assistant / Title Processor to support our real estate and legal operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and experience in title work or legal documentation.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review real estate closing documents Order and review title commitments, surveys, and payoff statements Coordinate closings with all parties involved (buyers, sellers, lenders, agents) Draft correspondence and legal documents under attorney supervision Maintain organized case and client files Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other professionals in a timely and professional manner Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines Post-closing procedures, including disbursement, recording, and final title policy preparation Ability to review closing packages for accuracy and ensure all documents are properly executed Skilled in organizing and submitting post-closing documentation to lenders, clients, and county recording offices
Qualifications:
Prior experience in title processing, real estate law, or legal assisting preferred but not required Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word and title/closing software (e.g., DoubleTime, Qualia, etc.) Ability to work independently and in a team environment Fluency in
