The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various legal tasks, ensuring efficient case management and administrative operations within our law office. This role is crucial in assisting with document preparation, legal research, and maintaining client files, particularly in the area of personal injury law. Duties Conduct thorough document review and assist in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings and motions. Manage legal case files and maintain organized records for easy access and retrieval. Provide executive administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars. Assist in the litigation process by preparing trial materials and coordinating with witnesses. Utilize PCLaw for case management, billing, and tracking deadlines effectively. Conduct legal research as needed to support ongoing cases. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress. Ensure compliance with all legal procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Requirements Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a law office environment. Proficiency in PCLaw or similar legal case management software is preferred. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with legal terminology, document drafting, and litigation processes, particularly in personal injury law. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to file documents accurately and maintain comprehensive records. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
