Paralegal Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join a law firm in Miami, Florida. This Contract position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can efficiently manage legal documentation and scheduling tasks. The role is fully on-site, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, including an unpaid lunch hour.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain calendars for legal events, including hearings and depositions.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Prepare and submit electronic filings (e-filing) for legal documents.
• Draft and finalize various legal documents, such as motions, notices, and complaints.
• Assist in drafting motions to compel and notices of hearings.
• Ensure legal documents are accurate and adhere to filing deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys and other legal professionals to support case preparation.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create and manage legal documentation.
• Maintain organization and accuracy in all calendaring and scheduling tasks. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
• Proficiency in managing calendars and scheduling for legal proceedings.
• Strong knowledge of e-filing processes and legal document preparation.
• Experience drafting motions, complaints, and other legal documents.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with legal teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work fully on-site during standard office hours.
