JOB SUMMARY
Duties:
Provide support to attorneys in the Business and Legal Affairs Department.
Track department workflow and ensure documents are sent to, received, and filed.
Assist in preparing standard form agreements and other legal documents; draft and send letters, documents and other routine correspondence as requested.
Assist in searching agreements and preparing analyses for attorneys’ review.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system in electronic and physical formats for contracts and related matters; create physical and electronic files; search and retrieve files on an ongoing basis.
Assist in negotiation and clearance of all audio and video releases.
Skills:
Interact well and communicate clearly with all levels of organization and personnel outside the legal department.
Excellent organization of physical and electronic files.
Basic proficiency in written and verbal Spanish is preferred.
Education:
Minimum of four years of experience as a legal assistant and/or paralegal
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Experience in a law firm or related area is preferred but not required
Experience with corporate in-house paralegal is preferred.
