⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Part-Time Legal Assistant – Family Law Office (25-30 hrs/week) (Coral Gables) Roberto Pertierra, P.A.

$15-20/hr commensurate on experience employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Legal Assistant We are a small, client-focused law firm specializing primarily in family law, with some cases in personal injury and criminal defense. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a reliable, organized, and personable assistant to join us part-time (25-30 hours per week) in our office. A full-time position could be available in the future, depending on job performance.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and make calls with clients, opposing attorneys, and judge’s assistants appropriately Draft and send emails to clients and legal professionals E-file motions and pleadings online Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff You’ll be working alongside our current part-time assistant, who is experienced and will help train you on our processes and systems.
Qualifications:
Prior secretarial or administrative experience is a plus Must speak English fluently (or at least at a conversational level); Spanish-speaking ability is preferred Must be dependable and have reliable transportation Comfortable with basic computer tasks and willing to learn e-filing procedures
