Key Responsibilities:

Draft legal documents related to workers’ compensation cases, including petitions, discovery responses, motions, and settlement documents. Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all medical records, employment records, and legal correspondence are properly organized and updated. Communicate professionally with clients, insurance companies, opposing attorneys, medical providers, and state workers’ compensation boards. Review, summarize, and abstract medical records to support case analysis, discovery, and trial preparation. Summarize expert deposition testimony and witness statements to assist in evaluating case strengths and weaknesses. Electronically file documents with state workers’ compensation boards and courts, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements and filing deadlines. Assist attorneys in all phases of case development, including preparing for hearings, depositions, and mediations. Coordinate scheduling of medical evaluations, hearings, and appointments related to case progress. Provide administrative support such as conducting client intakes, drafting correspondence, calendaring deadlines, and maintaining accurate case timelines. Why Equivity?
