Job Description:
This position in the VA section of our law firm, is critical in assisting the attorneys directly with writing arguments, preparing files for doctors to review and reviewing client files to provide historical timelines of events. Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in regard to sensitive information are all requirements. This position also requires that an individual is apt to identifying deadlines and reacting accordingly to necessary workload adjustments to ensure that files are handled properly and in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong client-service focus Adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of attention to detail Strong analytical ability Ability to work independently Average to above average computer skills College Degree preferred, or comparable work history in the legal or medical field Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. Experience in the legal field is preferred. Training is provided. Individuals who have experience in any of the following areas have proven successful: legal field, medical field, social services, professional writing, claims/case management. In addition, individuals who demonstrate a passion for helping others and a drive for lifelong learning are strong candidates for this role. Starting salary based on experience and level of expertise: $38,000
